Welcome to the official website of EMS of LeFlore County. EMSLC is the sole provider of emergency medical services for LeFlore County, Oklahoma.

EMS of LeFlore County provides 911 and inter-facility transport to over 40,000 residents with 1500 sq. miles. In 2009, EMS of LeFlore County responded to over 5200 calls for service. We operate 5 Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances staffed by highly trained EMT's and Paramedics equipped with cutting edge lifesaving equipment and medications.

    The EMS Board recently approved the purchase of mechanical CPR assist devices. The Zoll AutoPulse won the bid and will be added to the fleet later this month.

     Results of the international CIRC trial showed that the AutoPulse increases the chances of survival for cardiac arrest since it performs better CPR than manual CPR.

    The EMS Board recently approved the purchase of BiPAP transport machines from Philips Respironics. EMS will now be able to transport patients on continuous BiPaP long distances on their specific settings. EMS of LeFlore County strives to be innovative and dynamic when it comes to caring for all visitors and residents of LeFlore County.
